For me, the real joy of plein air painting lies in the endless inspiration found in nature. Creation is already so beautifully and wonderfully made. Every opportunity to observe it and reflect its beauty through my artist's heart and hand fills me with gratitude and delight. An art workshop retreat with professional landscape painter Mary Pettis, whose extraordinary gift and gracious spirit I especially admire, further encouraged me to continue cultivating beauty through plein air painting.
